COMIC RELIEF

Need help finding a good horror comic……..

I’m not looking for anything based on a movie or that has a movie based on it.

I’m not looking for any mangas.

I’m not looking for anything like Marvel Zombies that has already popular characters with the story contorted to make it “horror”.

And last but not least I’m not looking for the 40’s and 50’s horror comics (i.e. Tales from the Crypt) although those are great classics.

I’m looking for something “newer”. Not from this year but within the last decade or so. I love bloodshed but would still like a decent story. I’m open to any suggestions you’ve got

Have you heard of The Walking Dead?

It’s an ongoing zombie series by Robert Kirkman published through Image comics. It’s one of the hottest books on the stands, and one of the most consistently well written and praised comics for the last 5 years. I never understood Zombie movies until I read this book.
