Key Space Family

Is the key to happiness simply being distracted from the fact that we are all meaningless and going to die?
Read this before you answer:
Studies on happiness show that it’s mostly induced from the following:
Religion
Spending the most amount of time as possible with friends, family, people you enjoy
Having a job you enjoy
Spending time in general doing things you enjoy
Those induce happiness, sure, but they are really pretty meaningless when you think about it, they seem more like distractions than anything (except religion, which is just plain where you live in a fantasy world)
The above video, to me, is the horrible truth about our lives (It’s just a video of outer space with no words, don’t worry) which I guess could actually make you feel happier if youve been worrying a lot lately about little things.
But anyway…I dunno what I’m saying. Do you agree? Happiness is just from being distracted from our inherent sadness that is caused from thinking?
When I eat my favorite pizza, I am happy despite the fact that I will, within the hour, no longer be eating pizza. I don’t enjoy the pizza any less knowing it will be gone. In fact, I enjoy it more. And when it is gone, the fact that I enjoyed it at the time doesn’t change. This is true even if no one else knows I ate the pizza, or even if I forget that I ate the pizza that night.
Life is the same way. The fact that it will end has nothing to do with the validity of the contents.

Disney’s The Cat from Outer Space [VHS] $2.29 Here’s today’s trivia question: What Disney movie costars both colonels from television’s M*A*S*H–that is, Henry Blake (McLean Stevenson) and Sherman Potter (Harry Morgan)? Heck, that’s easy: 1978′s The Cat from Outer Space, a family comedy about a feline extraterrestrial named Jake (voiced by actor Ronnie Schell, who also plays Sergeant Duffy). Eerily similar to the plot of Steven Spielberg… |

House Life: Space, Place and Family in Europe $54.81 This book, which fills a gap on the materiality of lived relations, examines households within the context of their immediate physical surroundings of home and shows how human interactions are reflected in built forms. Houses are dynamic participants in family life in many ways. They often predate the origins and outlast the life spans of their inhabitants, but they can exert a powerful influence on the organization of behaviors and the values of family members, as well as on the forms and flows of family life across the generations. Constituting wealth, investment, security and inheritance, they are an objective in and of themselves in many domestic strategies. Drawing on developments within anthropology, archaeology, architecture and social history, the authors demonstrate, through detailed case studies, how household or family relations can usefully be mined to resituate social theory in both space and time. Space, boundaries, family cycles, historic changes, migration patterns, ethnicity, memory and gender are all interrogated for the light they shed on how people interact with the physical world around them and what this means culturally and symbolically. Europe is an especially rich focus for this kind of analysis because it is distinguished by its long, welldocumented history and a recent period of intense change. Knowledge Space $58.94 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In mathematical psychology, a knowledge space is a combinatorial structure describing the possible states of knowledge of a human learner. To form a knowledge space, one models a domain of knowledge as a set of concepts, and a feasible state of knowledge as a subset of that set containing the concepts known or knowable by some individual. Typically, not all subsets are feasible, due to prerequisite relations among the concepts. The knowledge space is the family of all the feasible subsets. Knowledge spaces were introduced in 1985 by JeanPaul Doignon and JeanClaude Falmagne and have since been studied by many other researchers. They also form the basis for two computerized tutoring systems, RATH and ALEKS. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F.
