What was the greatest incarnation of the Justice League?
The JLA has been around since 1960, when Gardner Fox once again threw together five of DC’s greatest heroes. The team has gone through various incarnations over the years, as heroes came and went. Now, in the One Year Later chapter following the Infinite Crisis, a new League is rising.
So I’m driven to ask this of my fellow readers…
…What was the greatest incarnation of the League, to date?
I think that the JLA of the Silver Age (1950s) was a great group. This included Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter. Many of these members went on to serve in many incarnations of the JLA.
Or you can always use the “unofficial JLA” of 52 (#26)…
which consisted of Firestorm, Firehawk, Super-Chief, Bulleteer and Ambush Bug.
