Golden Age Dell
Any Interest in Golden Age Comic Books?
DC and Marvel comics seem to dominate most non-manga comics questions and discussion here, which makes sense because they are the two most prominent American comic book publishers, but I wonder if there are any fans of golden age comics from the World War II era. If so, are there any fans of characters who were published by defunct publishers like MLJ, Better, Gleason, Quality, Fawcett, Hillman, Dell, and so forth, as well as golden age characters who were published by DC and Marvel/Timely back in the day.
Anyone out there have a favorite golden age character, especially one who doesn’t still have a modern incarnation, like Superman, Batman, Captain America or Aquaman?
I like many of the Golden Age characters. the problem is that many oif the names have been used for new characters. The one I like the best is a team called the Seven Soldiers of Victory also called the Laws Legion. It was mande up of the Golden Age verssions of Crimson Avenger, Star Spangled Kid, Stripesy, Green Arrow, Speedy, Vigilante, and the Shinning Knight.
