Which of these beatles albums is more rare / expensive?
I have two copies of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. One was printed in the United States in 1976, and both sides of the vinyl are printed: one has the album cover image and the other has the bass drum that says “Sgt. Pepper’s…”. The box has a transparent hole that lets the vinyl show. The album is stereo.
The other LP was printed in Colombia in the mid 80s I think and it has a cardboard box that opens, with the original album art, and it’s mono.
Which of these two albums is more rare or expensive? Thanks.
Which one would be the most sought after for collectors?
Things are expensive based on how much people want them vs. how many of the item is available. There may be more of the picture disk than the Columbia one but if more people want the picture disk then that’s the more expensive one. So there’s no way to tell except asking collectors or looking on ebay or some other place.
