What should I do…?

I love to draw comics, but my grades in art haven’t been good during high school, because they weren’t good enough according to the curriculum. I lost my self-confidence in art, and chose to study veterinary science. However, I have to study an extra year in a college to better my physics and chemistry, and that would be hard enough.

Now, I’m having some doubt about my choice, but if I chose art as a major, I’d have to worry about my source of income, and I would be in deep trouble if my paintings or comics weren’t good enough. I’m also afraid if I’m not good enough to get into Vet school…

I’m expecting a straight answer, and say what you would do, and don’t come one with a fairy-tale like answer and say “Do what you love”. Just say what you would do in my shoes. Remember, your answer could influence my future.

Have you considered Graphic Design? There is no reason you can’t pursue something you like…heaven forbid you like your job…and make decent money while you are at it!
