Best (affordable) makeup brands?

Hi! So I’m not a makeup person, really, but I’m in plays a lot and they require me to do a variety of different looks. So I need some durable stuff that won’t come off. Also, the stage lights can be really hot, so some stuff that can cut down on shiny and stand up to sweat would be awesome. Oh, and stuff that’s good for covering some acne, just in case.

Right now I’m a bitter, artsy-goth, Russian production manager who is into scary stuff. So I was thinking…

Foundation
Eyeliner (not like raccoon eyes, just dramatic)
Black mascara
Lipstick (maybe…not sure what color?)

Oh, OK, my hair is dark brown. I have green eyes and fairly long brown eyelashes. I have some freckles, but not a ridiculous amount. I’ll be wearing all black with a black military beret and black scarf.

Foundation – Nicole Paxson. It will not come off. Even if you go swimming. It must be washed off. The creme foundation is around $35.00. If that is too much try Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. Full coverage about $8-9 at Walgreen’s or Walmart.

Mascara – Lashblast by Covergirl. I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes when I’m tired. This does not smear. Costs about $6-7

Eyeliner – Outlast by Covergirl. ditto mascara

Lipstick – Revlon Colorstay collection. I usually reapply at lunchtime. I think that’s pretty good, going from 7am to lunch at 12. Can’t go wrong with a shade of red for dramatic purposes. Also costs about $6-7.
