When does the new Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide come out?

I would like to pick up the latest edition, but not if the new annual will be out in the next two or three months. Does anyone know when the new guide is due?

The last line states OPG 2009 will be out around April/May. This whole thread is very interesting though.

The early word on the 2009 Overstreet golden age and silver age comics is that the values will be lowered. It seems that the over-the-top prices on some key comics will be coming in line with the housing cost “corrections” (reductions).

This is bad news for comic book sellers on eBay, but good news for buyers.

Investors in comics will be no better off than are investors in the stock market right now. No one knows how far the market will fall or when there might be a turnaround.

The next Overstreet Guide should be available in April/May. Until then the 2008 can no longer be considered an accurate guide for comic book prices.”
