If I sell coasters made with pages of old comic books, will there be any copyright issues?

I’ve made a lot of coasters for family and friends using pages from old DC and Marvel comics.

Now I’d like to sell them at a few places and want to know if I’d be infringing on any copyrights by doing so.

Thanks for your feedback! Please let me know what your qualifications are for providing the answer!

Not unless you plan to have people read your coasters. The original comic books were publications for people to read, not set their coffee cups on etc.
