Umm..small doggies?
Hey!!!Well,I wanted to ask,are there dogs like which are really small and can fit into your bag or inside your jacket and stuff like that?I have been reading Airhead by Meg Cabot and the model in the book has a dog which is ultra small and fits everywhere and is really hairy.Please help because I so totally want a pup like that!:)!!
I’ve heard about shih tzus and Malteses,Ive even owned a Maltese before,but when I read Airhead,the dog was able to hide inside her bag.Whats up with that?!I dont think that could be a Chihuahua either.She described it as an extremely small dog.!!

I believe your talking about “teacup” breeds. I caution you before you go any further into getting one of these before doing some research. Here are a few facts about teacups.
They are not a real breed of dogs they are actually mutants who typicslly are poorly bred with other mutants making them extremly prone to health issues to include The risk of open fontanels (soft spot from the cranial bone not forming), portosystemic shunts (PSS- abnormal vessel that allows blood to bypass the liver. As a result the blood is not cleansed by one of the bodies filters: the liver.), hypoglycemia, cardiac problems, collapsing trachea, luxating patellas, Leggs Calves Perthes disease, seizures, hydroencephaly, blindness and digestive problems can be increased in these tiny babies.
Problems such as respiratory problems can remain or worsen throughout their lives. These babies frequently are so fragile that they do not live more than a few years. There have been several tiny Yorkies as adults who still had open fontanels and their owners had to carry nourishment with them all the time. Their vets have felt it unsafe to give a full dose of vaccine so the puppies had to get several injections to be on the safe side.
