who is your favourite incarnation of the joker?

So depending on your age, you will always have one joker you will think of when comparing to a new one. Such as the Dark knight film, I compared him to the Batman animated series.

Do you compare the joker to the 1960′s? A comic Joker, the first batman movie joker or is the Dark Knight joker your first experience with the famous clown?
And I prefered the joker in the Batman animated series

I have to say it was Denny O’Neill’s and Neil Adams’s version way back in the seventies. O’ Neill is just a WITTIER writer than most of the guys who have followed him and EVERYBODY owes something to Neil Adams’s renderings of everybody.
